The Kenneth P. Kidd Mathematics Educator of the Year
Award was established in 1976 to recognize an individual’s outstanding
contributions to mathematics education.
Nominations should be submitted online by April 15. Nominated
applicants remain on the ballot for five years. Nominees will be asked
to update information annually until nomination expires.
Mathematics educators are eligible for nomination if they meet the following criteria, as established by the FCTM Board of Directors:
1. The person shall have been actively involved in mathematics education in Florida for at least ten (10) years.
2. The person has been professionally active and has made a significant contribution at the local, state, and/or national level.
