FCTM, THANK YOU! I am thankful that I was able to attend the conference and even more honored to have received the Tom Denmark grant. It was eye opening to see the differences throughout the state, but empowering to see the commonalities among best practices in math. It was wonderful networking with so many math educators. I am refreshed with new ideas and energy and can't wait to implement some changes in my classroom (and share)!

As a prospective teacher, being a part of FCTM has allowed me to learned so much about effective instructional techniques and integrating real-world problems into the classroom. To be honest, we don't always have time to do that in my education courses. I'd say all the knowledge I've gleaned from FCTM amounts to an entire semester of learning.

Through FCTM, not only do you come across a lot of great math educators, but you are also are exposed to some of the best math practices and resources available, which really helps me make better decisions for my students.

Joining FCTM is a great way to meet like-minded individuals that are working toward a common goal of increasing student achievement.

Being able to collaborate with teachers from across the state is amazing. The lessons, strategies and tips that I have learned through FCTM far exceed what one would find from district level professional development.  

The opportunity to network with other educators and share standards-based resources has been invaluable. Being a part of a larger math community has been really important to my growth as an eduator.

I appreciate getting the chance to talk to other educators from across the state of Florida and hear about what they are doing in their classrooms. Hearing about their experiences is a real help in my classroom.

As a math teacher, it is important receive quality professional development. FCTM's annual conference gives me the opportunity to learn from engaging presenters and from other teachers across the state.

FCTM provides math educators an opportunity to get together to discuss important math concepts, instructional strategies, and initiatives that inspire and encourage us.
