Katrice Dixon, a product, producer and parent of Broward County Public Schools currently assigned to Crystal Lake Middle School of Pompano Beach, FL. My mission is to provide students a transformative, rigorous highly engaging education experience. In my classroom students can expect to implement real world problems through project based learning along with musical integration and cross subject collaboration . I believe a high energy experience like this will change the stigma that surrounds math and produce learning gains and academic growth. “I use what matters to the students social media fads, popular music and dances and it just works. I focus on relationships before standards and once you’ve built the trust the lengths your students will go to reach success simply can not be measured.”
